Since Nikki’s email update won’t hit until later tonight, I thought I would throw out a note to say Whit got home today and is feeling excellent.
Thanks to everyone who sent notes and thoughts and prayers our way, it helped a lot.
Now we just have to get Melvin back home….. that’s not going to be so fun since we are very attached to the little guy.

It feels so good to do something as normal as blog – it’s been a while! Thank you for all your prayers, kind thoughts, and get well wishes. They have helped immensely.
Even though the Ottawa Heart Institute is an incredible facility, it feels sooo much better to be home. I know I will recover much faster here.

So, apparently heart surgery affects my typing skills. Or it could be the Melvin on my lap, who has pinned my arm. He’s kinda stuck to me a little closely lately. Go figure.
